Name: Julian Atrion
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Rank/Position: Navigator
Appearance: From head to toe: Curly, tight blonde hair that sits formed to his head in a very 'Rome' fashion atop an aquiline facial structure. High cheekbones sit beneath blue eyes lined in long blonde lashes, chin beneath growing the faintest bit of stubble though it is often clean shaven.
He is of average height and weight, though broad shouldered and fit as per his militarized training and position. Number-wise, he stands at 67".
Generally speaking, he's clean and manicured, only lapsing in his daily ritualistic cleaning when feeling particularly ill or lazy, though that's almost never.
Personality: Julian is a quiet and reserved individual, never one to actually begin any sort of conflict, or discussion for that matter. However, he feels very passionate about things and people he loves, nearly to the point of having a fixation on them, part of the reason he denies himself any sort of romantic relationship and keeps friends at an arms length. Realizing that aspect of his personality only makes it harder for himself, and he really does try to act 'normal' or at least seem that way on the outside.
Though quiet, Julian is not a sensitive individual and doesn't cave to peer pressure as easily as some might think due to his meek personality. He can also hold his own should, god forbid, a conflict arise.
The the few friends he may have, he acts just as any other man in his mid-twenties would, perhaps not at outgoing or outspoken, but he finds it easy enough to get along and values them highly, in an almost dangerous sort of way.
In his professional relationships he does what he is told, no questions asked, and he prefers it that way. He likes having firm direction to take himself and his work in, loving every moment of it. Being a navigator is vitally important to him, and so he takes it very seriously and blames himself when things go wrong.
History: Born to a single mother on the home planet of Earth, Julian was a helpful and quiet child, always more willing to help his mother with chores than go play with the other children. He liked to watch them from the safety of his own yard, content to read a book or draw the other worlds he'd heard so much about, though he was never from enough wealth to view them on a television.
During his school years he discovered an aptitude for math and cartography, a passion for geographical sciences of all genres. With the prompting of a few of his teachers, he took the entrance exams into IO and was accepted for training as a navigator, though it hadn't been his first choice.
Despite that very small initial disappointment, he found he loved the position and everything it had to offer, and soon became excited for the prospect of an upcoming mission though he was the youngest of his class and didn't think he'd find work so easily or be placed with a crew so soon.
He thought it a bit odd at first that they'd even send someone as green as he on a reconnaissance mission deemed fairly important to the colonization and expansion of his own race and a few others.
